Being a Filipino, I’d like to think that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Personally, it’s my most favourite time of the year. As a matter of fact, I like it even more than my natal day.
Every year, I, with my sisters, would make it to a point to have a theme for Christmas. But, just like any other family, we all have our plans for Christmas. You can either stay at home, go on a trip, or even just eat out – truly, you can do a lot of things.
But, if you are one of those many that doesn’t have a plan for Christmas jsut yet, this blog post is best for you as I unveil to you 5 ways to best spend your Christmas may it be with your family, friends, or loved ones.
- Go Out Of The Country
Going out of the country is surely the number option of those who have the luxury to travel. Though you are going to shell out hundreds and thousands of bucks, visiting other places is surely the best gift you can give yourself for the hardwork all throughout the year. So don’t fret over the bucks you’ve spent because you deserve to spend every penny.
- Head On To The Nearest Beach / Resort
May it be a grand resort or not, you deserve to unwind. You deserve to relax and feel the sand in your toes. As the cliché saying that goes: Beach Therapy is the best therapy. So, go ahead and enjoy the sand in your toes, the wind caressing your hair, and the listen intently to the beach waves.
- Visit Your Loved Ones
Paying a visit to your deceased loved ones is one testament of how much you love them. That in this most wonderful time of the year, you share it with them.
- Plan A Family Reunion
I can still remember how my dad’s family would always have our yearly reunion every 31st of December, in time for New Year. But since others believe that it’ll be best to spend your New Year’s eve at home, then why not celebrate it on Christmas instead? Yes, I know. Thank you.
- Stay At Home
My most favourite, just stay at home. I can either binge watch movies, binge eating sweets, or just have a good conversation with my family. Nothing beats staying at home with your family.
Surely, there are quite a lot of things that you can do come Christmas. How about you? Do you have plans already? Tell me yours so I can add it in my list, leave a comment below.
