The Century Plaza Hotel: The Best Place To Stay When In The Metro

The Century Plaza Hotel

Having moved back to Bohol after 5-6 years of staying in Cebu, looking for a place to stay whenever I visit Cebu is hard because, there are a lot of things to consider. Aside from the location, you also need to consider accessibility, comfortability of the room, cleanliness of the area, friendliness of their personnel, and if their prices are friendly.

Yes, there are a number of pension houses, motels, dorms, and even hotels in the metro but, will they suit you and all your needs? Will they be able to cater all your needs? Will it take too long for you to check-in and out? Or, is their front desk officer haughty? Truly, there are a lot of things that would make you think twice in booking a hotel or the like. But, there is only one place where I never had to think twice, the place where I never had any problem during my 3 nights stay – The Cebu Century Plaza Hotel. Located at the center of the Century Plaza Commercial Complex, along Juana Osmena Street is this hotel that spells nothing but comfortability and serenity.

Built in 1995, the amenities are modern though the hotel is established way back, and the rooms are pretty spacious. You can even play with your friends inside your room, or your kids even. Though the facade of the hotel may not be as stunning as the other, don’t be fooled. Because their rooms are just like the others – elegant and serene. Their lobby has a minimalist design and may not be as spacious as the others but, you’ll still be comfortable with the tabloids on the tables prepared or, you will be entertained by their friendly front desk officers. And of course, not to mention, their prices are friendly / affordable.

I like how they have two beds even on their standard rooms. Their lights are pretty romantic inside the room and their beds are really comfortable. Their wi-fi is also fast and reliable. I even thought I was the only one using the wi-fi, it was that fast! And if I am not mistaken, one of their housekeeping personnel showed me 3 or more routers per floor. Serves their guests right, huh? 😉 Not to mention that all rooms in Century Plaza is airconditioned, has wi-fi, with own tv and with cable.
